Whilst we are passionate about sharing all stories of chronic illness, today we want to shine a spotlight on some incredible celebrities who are living with chronic illnesses. By using their platforms, their openness and courage help to destigmatise these conditions and provide hope to millions of others facing similar challenges.

Selena Gomez – Lupus

Selena Gomez, the talented singer and actress, has been open about her battle with lupus, an autoimmune disease that can affect various parts of the body, including the skin, joints, and kidneys. In 2017, she revealed that she had undergone a kidney transplant due to complications from lupus.
